IMO it's pretty silly to be comparing EMN to American Manganese - the companies are totally different.
American Manganese is developing an NMC lithium-ion battery recycling process (it doesn't have that much exposure to Mn). Their company name is misleading because the financial proposition of the technology is dependent on extracting nickel / cobalt which is significantly more valuable than manganese. On their website, they provide an indicative value for the manganese of only $2/kg.
