If the "sophisticated" do promptly sell out within a day or two the people belly aching that the company didn't do an SPP for the mums and dads will get their chance to mop up the available shares.

EVERYONE will have the chance to be happy.
Wonder who will put their money where their mouth is though. I suspect people like to complain they didn't get shares for 40% discount to 'yesterdays' high but suddenly get stage fright when the opportunity they pined for does arise.
