Yes, there are cases of organ damage and long-term repercussions - but this is still early days so those outcomes are still a little unknown - it could actually turn out to be a lot worse too.

There is no stopping the spread in my opinion - mankind is simply incapable of working together. There are cases of governments trying to decide whether they vaccinate illegal immigrants or not - totally missing the point that we are all on the same planet.
25,000 people at the super bowl - why bother - they might as well have had 100,000. Is that making an effort to stop the spread - and people thought Trump was the problem in the US - this is under Biden's rein.

In Democratic nations, the governments simply can't control their people - because near half the population don't agree with what they say and are fed up with prolonged lockdowns and restrictions.

Do you think we should self isolate and stay in lockdown mode forever? Ban international travel for good and live on our own islands?
Maybe, lock the perimeter and live normally internally has worked for AUS and NZ.
