So that wasn't what I said at all.
Novartis broke the population into subgroups and managed to show significance in certain preselected subgroups.
This is easier to do when the initial population is 4000 people, harder when it's 500.
Also referenced their previous studies showing similar results.
Does that make a bit more sense? if not I can't really help tbh.
