It's very logical mate. DFS is an uodated spreadsheet with updated assumptions. How hard is that, and of course how relevant is 19k volume. It's a place marker, probably the starting gun, to get the show on the road.
As a young accountant, I used to run deal models, many times a day. The final decsion often came down to a compromise between the many parties (provided you had the correct partners). The model was just reflected the structure of the deal.
