the climate models used then were a product of their time but have evolved since, unlike the pseudoscience worshipped by those who deny anthropogenic global warming and climate change. That's the pseudoscience that generates nothing other than hot air.

scientists have acquired considerable knowledge over the past generation and their basic and painstaking research climate trends and their consequences are plain to see.

some of these include
- continued rise of CO2 levels in the atmosphere driven mainly driven by burning of fossil fuels.
- continuation of long term trend rises in land and sea surface temperatures on Earth.
- ongoing contraction of the volume and extent of Arctic Sea ice.
- increased number of extreme weather events.
- huge volumes of melt water flowing off Greenland's ice sheet.
- receding glaciers.

these don't come from scientific models, they're real world observations, said to be occurring at an unprecedentedly fast rate of change.

yet hear we have a clique of mostly elderly gents grappling with their own attention deficit syndrome and relentless propaganda from the fossil fuel industry via News Corpse and its boutique tv unit proclaiming that this ain't so and offering nothing more than Because They Said So.
