Christopher Cooper lost a lot of his and his family’s money and credibility in that fight. If his aim was to get back at Pratt for sacking him, he inflicted a paper cut whilst losing an arm and a leg.
The board is unanimous (and includes representative of major holders). If the Coopers vote against it, their 14.7% will most likely be outvoted by just the other top 3 (who have more than 3x Copper’s holdings) What’s more there hasn’t even been a peep out of them.
I’m a little disappointed that another party hasn’t entered the ring to bid this up a notch. Still a chance post 1H results announcement - but getting less likely by the day. So I think we just need to sit and wait for the remaining 6% (tho SP will get closer as May approaches).
As an aside, looking at the annual report shareholder tables, I just realised I’m within the top 69 shareholders for RDF ... now that really brings a smile to my face!
