Well, consolidation in the csg sector is certainly driving up speculation of further takeovers. I recall reading an article couple months ago that cited Metgasco as being one of the potential target candidates. If I can find the news article I'll certainly try and post it. If someone can beat me to it, that would be even better.
So, with even a sniff a takeover, this stock would be trading in the dollars, not cents. I read a few insightful analytical posts elsewhere valuing Metgasco somewhere between $3.00 to $5.00 based on the price paid for gas reserves in previous takeover companies, ie. PES QGC etc. Proving up higher gas amounts I'm sure will only increase this company's value.
Interesting times!
And, oh yes nice breakout today. Congrats to holders, but I believe this is only the start.
