My kids lived there for nearly six years.

On my frequent visits I was amazed at;

How much infrastructure there that was run down and poorly maintained
How many homeless people there were
How bloody expensive their health system is
How low the wages are for most people
How patriotic they are
How self centred they are

Not all bad but it seems to me they are well past their heyday and are in a slow decline.

I'm very glad my children are back in Australia.
