Infose, I dont that the the sub-prime crisis is a good example of the benefits of free markets. Perhaps a tad less deregulation of markets might have been useful? As that link suggests?
The article on Singapore , I would have thought strengthened the case for intervention , they did well, accomplished what they were trying to do. Or did I miss something. What I certainly missed was them turning into the Venezuela of S.E. Asia , is there still time to warn the friends and rellies? The covid crisis and the economic changes have had some people leaving, as you would expect[and not that many] , not sure the property price taming measures have anything to do with it. cheers
