They have a lot less customers but sales value is way higher than zip or Afterpay.
Consumers using afterpay can choose.onlime or instore what payment plan they want sort of.similar to zip
Affirm offers a sliding interest rate charge depending on size of purchase and length of plan. Larger sale and longer pay back period attracts higher rates.
Affirm on average generates over 10.5% revenue.per dollar of goods sold nearly 3x Afterpays 3.9 % . So it can sell a lot less TTV and still generate significant revenue.
Goes back to offering consumers choice and saying if you want to buy a more expensive on bnpl longer terms you pay a higher rate.
Obviously credit cards and loans compete with affirm just like they do with Zips suite of products
