why would ANY contractor pay more to dispose pass at nag?
all 3 major projects metro & Westgate tunnel and fishermen’s bend redevelopment contractors had 2 choices;
1. treat pass with lime and dispose locally cost effectively per epa requirements
2. pay $150 a tonne for barge, hopper, converyor belt and pay trucks extra for 290 km return trip
any guesses which option taken by all 3 major projects to date?
