This is Mr Lincoln Augustus, first second cousin of Holymagiman

Holymagiman and I have just partaken of breakfast at Mama Rodriguez's place at Montego Bay and while the meal was great, the ride here was not. I can assure you that the roads of Trenchtown are rough, but no rougher than the way Holymagiman handles his 1956 Moto Guzzi. It was an experience getting here and I kid you not. That bike is falling to pieces, and so too am I, after that ride.

Anyway, to settle my nerves and steady myself for Mama's exquisite breakfast, I trolled through the Metgasco announcements, and one particularly caught my eye. I suggest that you listen to this broadcast, done on 15th April 2009, if you already haven't, at

A most interesting presentation indeed. It made me realise that this is one of the most under-rated coal bed methane plays around, with the added blue sky potential of convential gas and OIL.

A few salient points that I would like to draw your attention to are:

    1. "Backyard is Clarence Morton Basin which is an extension of Surat Basin"

2 "Are finding that the Basin is deeper than we thought and we are finding basement depths of 11,000 feet, and the deeper parts of the Basin have the same units that are prolific producers in the Surat Basin (ie oil and conventional gas)."

    3. "....and it is only the conversion of a small percentage of our large 2P position. And so, in itself, one well giving 2.7 PJ may not be a great deal. But if you look at where that well is located, and you make some not unreasonable assumptions about how many well spacing there may be, it is a potentially quite transforming occurance. What it does do is that it effectively puts us in the appraisal stage and allows us to begin to contemplate fuel development for broadscale production...."

4"..Kingfisher discovery announced in September 2008. Kingfisher well terminated at 1296 metres because we reached a hookload of 95,000 on the rig (limit of hookload was 100,000 lb). We believe that we have just touched the tiger by the tail, and we can see that the full section looks very very interesting, and we will anticipate that when we come back to drill this area we will be able to penetrate the full section and we will be able to get a look at the deeper units which include the equivalent of the prepice sandstones which is a major producer in Surat."

    5. "Some evidence that the discovery is not completely dry. Prepared to farm out Kingfisher or to drill it on our own, if required. +

    6. "One of the few companies to have conventional gas and CSG"

7.MOUs with CS Energy for 18PJ/year and with British Gas for 15 PJ/year

8 "...and we also need to go ahead and drill these conventional wells which will potentially transgorm this company."

    9. Has an excellent Board with excellent experience.

So, all in all, it has been a most interesting day, and a most interesting broadcast. I would advise you all to listen to the broadcast again and take in all that is being said.

Blessing of the Lord and peace be with you.
