The product will require a combination of skills to install
The actual unit could be installed by a Gas Fitter with an Elect Cert - however you will need an Electrician to replace your power meter to allow it to run in reverse - same setup as those with a grid connected solar or wind system. Nothing new here. You will have to let your electricity company know too!
And yes it can be used to heat your house / pool etc, however it is likely that this would need a pump to move the water around your house. Nothing new here either!
Infact this is what makes the system a winner - skills and knowledge already in the market - we just need the unit!
How much will they cost? I guess that is what we are waiting for! 1.5Kw solar systems are in the $7-$15k region and get a Govt sub to bring the price down - read nothing about a similar Govt Sub for these units.
