that would be a large part of the continued drop off, yes.
when I say US concerns, I mean this follows very closely to the tech sell off in the states. had the nasdaq been in green, I doubt on today's results we would have ended up where we are. liquidity is king at the minute and with the amount of infants running in for a quick buck, I'm not surprised money is shifting elsewhere in the shorter term, both due to the larger macroeconomics, fed/stim/yield, which drives to different classes such as commodities or explosive small cap growth stocks. why would anyone want to dump money in this hoping for a quick buck? and doubt the record liquidity and trading account levels are wanting to wait 1-2 years for their returns....
the beautiful thing about investing in stocks, is we all see different metrics. there's so much to like in today's report, having entered back in at $24, with an average of $21.50.
