How are you going with Ph1A of COVID-19 vaccine? 2 staff in our Dept that I know of have been called up, for Pfizer vaccine. All ED staff. We go to a hub near us. Surprisingly you can refuse it, as you cannot with the flu shot annually in high risk areas, not allowed to work without it. It may be to do with Emergency authorisation for use, but sure as s$&@ it will be compulsory before too long. A good thing, let’s look at efficacy rates of vaccines...A good place to start is South Africa. Put a stop to AZ-Oxford because it wasn’t great on Mutation. Taking on board J&J as well. Recent safety data has been ok.
