Yes it's amazing what they will try and do to get around this John 1:3, effectively unhook it from 1:1-2, especially when the likes of many verses Isa 44:24 and God said etc, rips Jesus right out of the picture until 1:14.

John 1:4, pretty much is what 1:1-2 is saying, in God there is a plan - word of Life and confirmed in 1 John 1:1-2.
Ref as that, 3 times, plan that is, word of life, logos and naturally, much of that is about Jesus.

Logos produces him (effectively) and he then becomes the carrier, Heb 1:2.
