Dude i think you put good info and concerns forward and obviously a major investor in PIL but you got to think demographic, SEA has a lot more screen time as its mostly used for entertainment and news, they also have adapted to QR coding. Cards will be a thing of the past soon, you can NFC or QR anything, soon you wont sign deeds you'll just have digital signature. Have a look at the banking system, when was the latest up grade in tech? By the time IOU gets to the Philippines they should have partnered with a bank to take in deposits. There's more people with phones then there are with cards, imagine getting cross boarder transactions in app and instead of paying $5 up you pay $2 or less plus spread or currency conversion fees.
PIL is a good product, but they didn't have the engineers or didn't want to pay for the good ones as i know there is an abundance of highly talented Philippine coders, even the Bizmoto App is weighed down by too many click options which would have been a shit storm to have coded so it goes to show.
PIL will do great and i would invest myself but there's more unbanked cashless individuals with phones who already use similar tech outside of the Philippines then there is inside and i'm here to make money, its not to say im not investing in PIL its that the demographic suggests theres a better chance for growth; depending on marketing and up take IOU has a good chance of being a trending finance utility App.
With a lower share count too man it leaves room for growth and good upward price pressure. Dont get attached to a stock, find your best avenue to increase your holdings then scalp back and invest for HODL for companies like PIL or buy to average up. AIMHO GL MAYBE BUY SOME IOU AND HEDGE PIL, youll make money either way, only youll make it faster with one then the other, thats a good bet.
