I'm hoping for a takeover in excess of 35c (which would be a 50% discount for the buyer)

I have a (horrible?) feeling it will be partial asset sales with BBP retaining Alinta and the worst of its generation assets. Enough to repair its balance sheet and turn the company around over about 5 yrs.

I would imagine a internalisation on management, name change, and possible capital raising will follow.

Al the above is pure speculation. What else to do until friday?
