The usual tipping comp was held at Paydirt's Gold Conference recently.

Director John Jones tipped gold to be at US$1,200 by year's end.

Of course, I take all such predictions with a grain of salt. These gold bugs ALWAYS overshoot their predictions.

A better method, statistically, is to the same as you can do with weather forecasting - it is most likely to be similar to what it is today.

My personal view is that we will see moderate growth (up to US$1,000, but that this will be offset by a stronger A$.


Still, interesting to hear the director's thoughts. It also reinforces Troy's policy of remaining exposed to the upside of the gold price with no hedging. (they do have some downside cover for Sandstone.)

Just a reminder for any new potential investors. Troy is producing NOW from 2 mines, and both are unhedged.
