No news is bad news?

Beginning to look like the market is losing patience. An announcement is surely overdue? Why the delay one wonders? A broken drill bit or some such? Or has the $3 billion overspend in WA caused a re-examination of the project economics?
Looking at it logically, if the hole was a dud, they'd have pulled the plug weeks ago, so as not to waste money, one would think. Unless the core samples were showing a line ball situation and they carried on the drill to see if there was improvement in mineralisation % at deeper depths.
Here's hoping an announcement follows soon that clears it all up in a very positive way.
