Check Lihr on the NYSE overnight. Tonight gold was sitting around $26 - $27 & Lihr lost about US$0.78. How does that sit with a stagnating sector? Unfortunately being on the bottom of the information chain we are not privy to what the Market reacts too. Even silver stocks are declining on rising prices. e.g cxc
