The problem i see with a widespread CR is too many people jumping in at a much lower SP. This means future positive announcements would be muted by profit takers and in the short term could hold back price rises. In addition the SP could drop closer to the CR price as people sell to repurchase at a lower point. If this is a single larger investor they are likely to hold on for longer in my view and we "might" not see the SP dropping as much, if at all.
I am not an expert by any stretch, but this is my take on the situation.
