2020 BRN Discussion, page-28931

I have been in and out of this since the AZK days and vividly remember the intraday high of 62.5.
I presently hold a modest amount of shares compared to many, however if BRN does well it would make my life much more comfortable.

A few years ago, perhaps 2 or 3, I owned shares in a company, where I read a post about the dangers of herd mentality, where gurus were elected based on the number and seeming veracity of their posts, combined with a rise in the Sp.
Newcomers, unaware of the status they had obtained, who asked questions, naysayers, and assorted others who did not agree with the gurus were vilified and quickly stopped posting, giving the gurus an ever increasing number of sycophants and power.
If my memory serves me right the next stage was the assertion that the gurus now had privileged access to the company. Everyone who had not stopped posting or been placed on. Ignore cheered the gurus.and given there was now no room for discourse, their words were now sancrosant.
I learned some valuable lessons
the stock remains in my bottom draw and owes me an embarrassing amount.,

I hope BRN does not become a repeat.
