Why not stick it in the bank? I mean, if you want to keep it safe that is pretty good.

As for GOLD.asx versus gold mining co's: there really ain't a comparison, look at how NCM went a few months back when the market crashed. It got down to 17 odd bucks (from low 30s), but GOLD.asx cruised through.
