the only sum that matters is the money printed with interest by the RBA that makes us perpetual govt debt slaves. Undermining our society so govt becomes bigger and crazy banking shananigans look more attractive and society is coerced into casino economics with their money rather than investing it or storing its value. Although the surplus might be for invetment in the future or w/ever rhetoric they come out with it has a deleterious effect on our society every time.
