Yep I agree with all that. From Elon's tweet it seemed like supply at this point is a bigger concern than cost. I think in my previous post I underestimated the nickel price car manufacturers would "tolerate". $1-2k USD isn't a huge premium for an NCA/NMC battery vs LFP when it gives you longer range and shaves a few hundred pounds off the car. Like you said given nickel batteries are more energy dense the cost difference might not even be that much.
