pleasant surprise

Hello to everyone watching AZZ,

I`ve been away for a few weeks on a fishing trip on the Murray River, and what a surprise it was to see these good gains in the share price on the back of spudding Yellow Rose.

Below is a post which i posted on SS at the start of April,

Hi Ice9,

It is good to see a profit after some very bad luck on the drilling front.

Yellow Rose is the one we are all waiting for to be drilled, success here will increase reserves in a big way. My understanding on why it hasn`t been drilled yet is that the hold up is from our partners side, SIDC. I`m not 100% certain on what this is so i won`t speculate, but Antares is keen to drill this prospect and may even drill it with more than a 50% working interest.

Also after Yellow Rose there is another large target that is to be drilled in the same area.

I had wondered when Harrison 3 was being planned to be drilled, due to the success from Harrison 2. H3 will not be drilled while H2 is still producing oil, as they want to test the gas sands in that well. This was supposed to happen around the start of this year, but H2 is producing more oil than expected, a change of luck starting maybe. It is predicted that H2 will keep producing oil at an economical rate untill around the end of this year. So expect H3 to be sometime into next year.

I didn`t get around to posting it on HotCopper as i was in the sin bin at the time, but i hope a few you had read it back then.

Things are travelling well for now, but remember that this is a high risk, high reward play.
