The only thing I would add to your post is at the very end "if you're short term". If you are long term nothing fundamental has changed. There is a lot that is novel about VUL and I still wonder what the market will make of its capitalisation at this moment in time. I'm expecting a fair bit of drifting for a while yet. People with a short term view will most likely exit and move their money into another FOMO stock that VUL was for so long.
I'm also interested in others opinions about OT agreement timing. Am I on the right track thinking a pilot plant would have to be operational to provide proof of concept before a battery maker would be prepared to sign up?
