I tend to agree, the article's reference frame is underpinned by a "bank" and "consumer" perspective not directly relating to REIT's or any other sector for that matter. And even so, it is quite plain that in CNP and CER's case levels of consumeris are not at issue as the respective focus is on non-discretionary spending within CNP and CER centres.
