Yes I understand its based on marginal rate, be it 32, 37 or 45% depending on tax bracket, and yes that is NET of recovered prior losses, but its still aggravating.
Government has nothing to lose. I wear the losses upfront, and when there is profit, they take their pound of flesh.
Lets not forget that as an investor we are facilitating these public companies which also pay tax, employ people, and bring prosperity to Australia.
