I initiated late today - ONLY up to the Proceed button - a "dummy" buy trade @ 54.5c in EMN, which Commsec would allow!
But to tell Commsec their policy per the link I sent you is out of date and needs to be changed IMO would be like talking to a tree.
I guess most other HC posters have already found this out long before now.
I've had no need to test this "allowance",
i.e. to succeed with placing a trade at half-cent intervals in a stock with an SP range of 50.0c to $1 (presumably)
as I've not bought spec stocks with SP's in this price range for years.
