It looks like a polar opposite strategy to the Bunnings move. Wesfarmers essentially bought the business for the sites and tried to rebrand them at a rapid rate and it was too big a culture change for the market place. On face value this looks like a bolt on acquisition which will operate unhindered. A much better way to expand into a foreign market in my view.
