It is nice to be needed. I think he would do better if when he sells out of a stock whether it is a winner or a loser to take the view of no regrets. You cannot always get your investment choices right 100% of the time. If you sell out of a losing trade it is much better to move on and look for new opportunities rather than being salty.
everyone makes mistakes in hindsight such as selling too early or buying at the top. live and learn.
