I would have to disagree on a few points. Firstly I wouldnt say VML has shown little follow through, once it busted through 4.8c to quickly ran to 8.2c.

Distribution usually involves higher than normal volume as you mention but the price stays relatively stable as the "distributer" tries to prop up the bid in order to sell. We havent seen that with VML this week, it has been high volume line wipes, low volume pullbacks and then more line wipes when the offer fills up again. That is accumulation.

My take on todays price action is firstly it was due a breather, secondly the whole market is down so there will be some taking profit and thirsly traders will be exiting.

I have a multi-decade bullish view of rare earths so either way Im happy holding.
