My son is living in Switzerland, where house prices are substantially higher than in Australia.
To solve housing crisis , you pay 10% deposit over there and other 10% from your pension fund and you can take mortgage for 50 years + on fixed interest rate, you are basically renting. No flipping and short term speculations with properties. First 5 years you will pay very high capital gain tax....
