Its actually very disturbing how information is being shared.
At first I thought some posters were full of BS about their “chats” with “Nige”. Increasingly, it appears these claims were true.
Some posters are motivated by impatience. Other, judging by their conspiracy leanings, are motivated by a need to feel special, like an insider. Neither agenda aligns with running a company professionally.
There are only so many hours in the day. If NF is only spending 15 minutes with every poster claiming to have one-on-ones, that leaves little time for anything else. And there is too much work to be done to spend any of it stroking brittle egos.
This is really starting to look like amateur hour. For the very first time, I am seriously reconsidering my AVZ holding. I mean think about it. Am I in crazy town here? Who could possibly believe unauthorized recordings and screenshots are a good thing?
Company communications require careful crafting. Words, context, format, presentation, audience, and timing are all critical. Unless of course, AVZ doesn’t care about that?
There is nothing wrong in AVZ marketing their story. ASX announcements aren’t always enough. I get that. But no company should want to lose control over how their story is framed.
For those who are more literal, what if, in the interest of being frank, NF worded a statement less carefully than he would otherwise? What if some beer-soaked middle-aged boof-head started spraying their pet prejudices in the background? What if one of a million other things that could go wrong remain unedited. None of this helps with offtakes. None of this helps with anything.
Are people so full of their own ego that they’d rather feel special than be invested in a successful company?
So many of you guys are all over NF, like seagulls on hot chips, squawking, “ME, ME, ME, ME”. The worrying thing is NF seems to be chucking some of you clowns chips.
Now, cue the clowns lining up to shout “Sell then”.
