NIC is a good investment vehicle for anyone after a pure nickel producer. If you want diversified miner that also produces nickel maybe look at BHP. The NIC advantage is they have one of the lowest cost producers. This is the important number. I can compare this to the oil industry. When the oil price dropped it shut down the shale oil industry because they couldn’t compete with low cost producers. Same with Queensland Nickel who weren’t competitive when the nickel price dropped. NIC will remain standing long after many others fall. What is NPI used for? Every stainless steel nut, bolt and washer coming out of China starts as NPI. Came across this a few years ago on a job site. A magnet will stick to a stainless steel bolt made with NPI bolt due to the higher iron content.
