When shorten was investigated and the police concluded after prosecutor consultation that there was unlikely to be a successful prosecution and then dropped the matter Plibersek in 2014 stated "Shorten has been shown innocent " move on.
Now even after police have closed Porter`s case in 2021 Plibersek is pushing repeatedly and frenziedly for an inquiry.
