Not necessarily. Doubt the lender would want to hold the shares too long. They aren't a trading business or an investment firm, they're a lending business and would want to make their cash back asap so they can use them to lend to someone else. Plus they made a hefty amount doing it too since the shares were up a significant amount from their conversion rate
