The recent exposed Threat Vector in the Microsoft Exchange Server is a more troublesome attack then the Solar Winds hack.
Two reasons.
The Microsoft attack exposes an order of magnitude more data and more internetworking contamination.
It points to lack of relevance in the Security world for the scope of the Iwebgate technology, the new battle is far from the Iwebgate technology, and the fear of a potential CCP exploitation, will further cause marketing problems.
No Nation State IC can tell someone that the CCP is behind this hack, just as they can not tell you where Covid started, just too many players who can portray almost any origin they want. But for the timing being MS has decided to point the nasty finger at the same country doing all the development for Iwebgate. Just bad luck really.
