I wonder what the wireline logs might show from the second intermediate section?
Just to remember: in WE2 we had "pronounced hydrocarbon shows in the Lesueur and Woodada formations. [...] Both formations had fair to good visual porosity, flourescence in the cuttings and good elevated mud gas readings." Flourescence in cuttings = 'oil shows'. These shows appeared to be "markedly better" at that time than in the nearest offset well, West Erregulla-1.
This time in WE4 Strike decided to run wireline logs because they had shows while drilling, which "are analogous to observations seen in the West Erregulla 2 well".
...sounds very interesting...
The log results might cause the "pronounced" buying of both, Strike and WGO in the late trading evening...??
I would expect an ann tomorrow before drilling in the Kockatea shale resume...
