If the person in question has done nothing wrong they would have no problem finding a lawyer, in fact after publicity the ambulance chasers will be knocking down his door. Not only would they get their full entitlements they would also get additional compensation & their legal costs paid for.
You can't just sack someone without cause in Australia & a big company like this woukd be fully aware of that fact. So I would suggest that it's not always as simple as a victim & a predator.
As I posted above if it was costing you personally $300k I doubt you would be so saintly especially if the person involved commited a stackable offence.
