Interesting discussion thanks guys. Almost seems like market maker buys on asx then sells on German exchange. Almost like a substantial holder in that one would assume once they are bought they would most likely remain locked in the German system so no longer available on asx unless they get dumped and market maker has to sell them back onto asx.
silly thought but us this why we have seen hf trading for last few months, ie maybe the market maker was building a bundle if shares as cheap as possible and now those shares will be available to German? Just a thought.
