Where to now for long term investors of Telstra, page-10959

Im back in, not for a particularly good reason, so keeping Sentiment as Hold, which is a bit of a strange thing to do...

Im mostly out of Vocus now due to takeover and and i dont see much value in the Telco space (which i want to stay in because i feel i understand it), Telstra is the best there is from my perspective, so just an entry position.

I hope to trade a bit, and MFI is pretty low on the charts, and SP looking near the bottom of an upwards channel, so maybe it will go up from here, i considered waiting, not confident the SP will go back to its lows in the near term.

I was encouraged by Telstra oping up dark-fibre, more than for revenue, it means there is someone competent in there somewhere, and they have authority to get something done.

Bottom line for me, there is enormous unrealized value in Telstra just waiting for competent management to unlock, its good assets and bad management, vs not so good assets and good management elsewhere in the telco space. Good assets make me feel safer as an investment.
