    Have to correct you there. They’re not free.
    He is forgoing money into his bank account and electing to take up 6k’s worth every month. No different to getting paid 30k in cash every month, then buying 6k from his own pocket.
    Either way you look at it, he obviously thinks the shares will increase in value.
