Generally enjoy seeing a lot of newer faces on these threads during the past days and month as the SP gained momentum and the shareholder base widened. Welcome and good luck to everyone. A lot of good work (disclaimer for the legal folks: it's up to you to determine what is valid and what you should consider or avoid in forming your beliefs or to support your investment decisions, DYOR) has been shared by people genuinely digging into the pros/cons of the investment thesis and business itself, welcoming an objective discourse. Looking forward to continuously challenge our perceptions as well as the posts aimed to provide pure entertainment.
Unfortunately, the increased foot traffic as is to be expected also results in more useless and even downright obvious down/up ramping approaches. While I take most of them in jest with the rest of the folks here as a natural part of a rising SP, often having a chuckle at the clumsy and rather unstructured nature of the posts, I generally don't comment on them as they are par for the course. So please put the following down to my old age (spoiler alert: you get crankier and less tolerant of BS as the rest of you age hopefully more graciously than I), weather patterns shifting by the hour, or today's inconsequential share price movement, but the below comments are just off.
Hats off for using 3 data points to supports your argument --- which is 3 more than most others often grace us with -- but then following that with the comment that you bought the shares puts an interesting spin on it which I am trying to come to terms with -- unless there's a bipolar element to it that I missed?!? While others kindly tried their best to assure that any "loss" -- unrealized loss unless you already sold the shares to lock it in -- would be temporary in nature, I actually have to laugh at this as it reeks of total and utter BS. So after being convinced this stonk is "extremely overvalued", so much so that you felt the urge to share your opinion with the rest of the world who also deserved to know, you decided to buy some regardless. Despite your initial conviction. And, it seems you purchased a for many people sizeable amount of shares too. Wow, interesting...ok, then what happened?! Ah, the SP corrected after a 29% up day/ATH. So your actual thesis was 'supposedly' correct -- based on a 6-hour window of trading data and 1 days' closing price -- but since you invested regardless of what the logical side of your brain told you -- you're now actually down $7k and then felt the urgent need to share with the world (aka whine) that you're down $7k. Saying one thing but doing another, then getting burned on that and feeling the need to publicly confess. That's deep brother, I feel you. That's some seriously deep @#%^.
I am surprised by the generally kindhearted nature of people on the thread today who actually replied to this trying to be sincere in their support as this makes zero sense. If you'd actually really had that belief and invested regardless, then no one but yourself is responsible for the actions you took. If you came here to try to put up a half-^&sed attempt of loss-p 0rn --- and no less on paper losses --- then please move onto R3ddit. Any amount of real money invested is significant and scale is relative, as always. If the $7K down comment is supposed to impress us, please bro, think before posting!! A number of people topped up at previous ATH levels to see the SP reverse for multiple months and during that time were down many multiples of $7k --- wait, a number of holders actually experience daily one pip moves in excess of that 7k dollar value --- yet no one ever posted a 'cry me a river' post like this...especiallylly AFTER your initial post. It's just embarrassing, seriously. If this was genuine, I'd have genuine comments but these posts lack originality and even any attempt to make it really interesting for us, the readers of your posts. I know you can do better -- both as a poster and as an investor. Aspire to do better. Carpe Diem, before it's too late and your fictitious account goes down another $7k.
Everyone else knows the drill: daily price movements are nothing but noise if the LT thesis remains intact. GLATH.
