Sorry I'm not sure what you are saying with most Australian steel prices competitively based on Asian steel prices. BSL and Liberty in the most part produce different products with Whyalla & Mini mills being a long products producer ( Beams, Rails, Reo, Bars etc) while BSL is a flat products producer ( Hot Rolled Coil, downstream products to COLRBOND and Plate) so I'm not sure that Whyalla being there or not would do anything to BSL prices. IMO
I suppose if the Whyalla and Mini mills were closed it would be an opportunity for importers to increase volume in the BSL range of product. IMO
