Bill is there to oversee final commissioning is my guess.
The commissioning of stage 2 was delayed till July/August. If his return date is uncertain it makes sense that is the reason.
My understanding the only problems associated with recent times are:
1) the delay in transportation of equipment for stage 2 by rerouting the empty concentrate trucks to South Africa to pick up the supplies rather than have them return empty.
2) one of the contractors went bust, AVM were negotiating to buy their trucks off them and replacing the smaller trucks they were using with them. As far as I know no delays were incured due to this.
Hopefully we are updated soon, at worst we have to wait 2 weeks for the quarterly and annual reports.
If CBA are still selling down there should be a top 20 disclosure report out soon too.
