If you invested in the value, then you shouldn't have an issue with them announcing drilling to commence. I own a few resource companies and they've all announced something similar at one time or another so I disagree that it's not common.
"destroying the value" - It's up 400% in a year.
pump and dump - It's a 9m MC stock. It's going to be volatile - keeping the announcement vague and less announcements actually eliminates traders because they aren't able to buy the rumour sell the news. If you're a true long and believe in the commodity then IMO something as frivolous as wording of the announcement or them not telling us every minute what's happening isn't a concern.
The bigger picture is; they're drilling and extending the depth of the current JORC. Overtime further drilling will delineate a large resource here. Highlight likely that the mines to the north will acquire this is time. Similar sort of play to SPX a few years back which i done quite well on.
Upside is exploration on the other tenement which are in the right commodities.
Also, if you check my posting history on stocks i hold i'm usually the most conservative on the threads. Even the ones i've made very good money on. My issue is when people air grievances but do nothing about it to help their situation. Honestly, and i mean honestly, if you want some further info pick up the phone and give the company a call. It doesn't matter whether you own $1000 or $100,000 in stock.
"hey I'm an investor and I just wanted to seek some clarification as to how the drilling program is coming long". You will probably get an answer which makes you feel more comfortable.
Some people will now suggest, yeah well we should have to call them to find out. Well given there is usually north of 2000 shareholders you aren't going to appease all of them with your ASX announcement so it's natural there may be other info which isn't materially important and can be shared to individuals interested to know it. If your concerned enough to air grievances should be concerned enough to call to get your answer, but that's my personal view.
